Firstly,as a college student, I can almost guarantee that we need more sleep, so we should start there. We probably don’t want to go to bed earlier, but we should. For most monophasic sleepers this requires you to get around seven to eight hours a day.Our body and brain need to take a rest to relax them.Therefore,give ourselves an extra hour to rest every night, and see if that helps. This will allow you to be more attentive in class.
Furthermore,we can stay awake in class by sitting in the front row of the class.If we sit in front of the class,we will have more eye contact to lecturer and this will make us not dare to sleep.This also will help us to be more alert and concentrate on what lecturer's teaching.If we are busying to concentrate more in the classes,we will not feel sleepy more.Besides that,we should get interested in the lecture.A lot of your interest in a lecture is affected by your attitude. If you go in thinking it’s going to be boring, you'll probably be bored. Even if you're taking a required class.So,try to get interested in the lecture every classes, it will help you stay alert.
On the other hands,we also can drink a cup of coffee, tea, essence of chicken or red bull before the class to make up stay awake during classes. Not only that, we also can take a nap or do some light exercise such as take a walk or jog before classes so that we can be more alert and won't feel tired during class.Before go to class,we should having some breakfast to let our body more energy and always stay alert during class.When we no eat anything before go to class,we will feel like whole body no energy and will not concentrated during class.
In conclusion, we should lead a healthier lifestyle as we can stay awake during classes.As a student, we must pay more attention during the classes so that they can learn more things and to avoid the wasting of times.
